Future Farmers of America (FFA)

FFA is a vital component of the Agriscience Education Program. Leadership is provided by student officers and advisors who attend a leadership camp in the summer and guide the chapter activities. FFA provides many opportunities for students to travel, compete, and associate with peers from other chapters during Career Development Events.

Our FFA also competes in the woodworking contest at the State Fair of Louisiana.  Our chapter also attends the Louisiana State FFA Convention as well as the National FFA Convention located in either Indianapolis, Indiana or Louisville, Kentucky. The Ruston chapter holds many recreational activities such as our annual chili cookout, riding in the Christmas Parade, Aggie Day, and a bass tournament. The FFA holds many opportunitites to help our community with a variety of service projects.
